Results Day
Results Day this year will take place on Thursday 21 August 2025 for GCSE, BTECs, Cambridge Nationals and Other Level 2 Qualifications. Results day at Appleton Academy is always a busy event and student results should be collected between 9.00am and 11.00am at the Primary Sports Hall.
Students are expected to attend school in person to collect their results. Staff will also be available in school during results day to assist any student whose results are below expectation.
It is school policy that results will not be given over the telephone or by e-mail.
We will accommodate requests for alternative arrangements as outlined below, but these should be arranged before leaving for the summer break:
1. Stamped self addressed envelope for results to be posted.
2. Written authorisation, from the student, for someone else (including parents) to collect their results on the day.
3. GCSE review of marking/copy exam scripts can be requested until 25 September 2025. After that date no further reviews of marking are possible (Exam Board Rules).
